long toes, run under heals. also suspect for a short leg on the rf. has been doing well with a lift pad.

Before:trimmed 2 weeks earler by other farrier. Long dishing toe and rununder heal and contacted foot.

Before: 4 weeks on shoeing done by other farrier. Notice the leverage effect of the shoe placement. Long toe rununder heal and lack of cadual support.(rear hoof) It is important to still be supporting the cadual reagion of the hoof capsule at the end of a regular shoeing cycle. (this foot would even be worse in another 2-4 weeks)

After: Note the much better base of support compaired to Before photo.

Before Long toe, run under heal and pancaked out. Photo 8 weeks after 1st trim.

After 3rd trim, more agressive trim than typical. Due financial constraints.
|

Before: hind foot. Notice low run under heal, bull nosing of dorsal wall possibly contributing to a zero or negative palmer angle. High jamming arc in the hairline

8 weeks after first shoeing. Still a bit of hoof capsule distortion but, should clean up nicely after reset.
|
|
|
|
As you can see the hoof capsules are free of bull noseing and provide a much better boney column support. Notice nice sloping arc of hair line.
